- Sign in to Instapaper and open Settings.
- Under "Export", choose "Download .CSV file".
- Drop that CSV below.
- Create a free account and the import begins.

- Your folders, which become collections
- Any text you had selected
Questions
Are the dates I saved things preserved?
No, and not by choice — Instapaper's CSV export simply doesn't include timestamps. Imported articles are dated at import time. Everything else comes across.
What happens to my folders?
Each folder becomes a Someday collection with the same name. Unread, Archive and Starred are treated as state rather than folders, so they map onto the equivalent Someday filters.
Do my highlights come across?
Instapaper exports highlights separately from the article CSV. The "Selection" column is imported as an excerpt; full highlight export is not part of the CSV.
