Questions
Will everything arrive as unread?
Yes. Raindrop is a bookmark manager, so its export has no notion of read state — marking everything unread is the honest mapping rather than a guess.
What happens to "Unsorted"?
Unsorted is Raindrop's inbox rather than a curated list, so those items arrive in your library without a collection.
Coming from somewhere else?
Your reading list, on hardware you trust
Someday is open source and free to self-host, or hosted for you at someday.sh. Same code either way.
